Norman Bull, 31, of Sault Ste. Marie, was arrested by Manitoulin OPP on Oct. 9, 2025, after crashing his vehicle into a ditch on Highway 17. He initially claimed a road rage attack but was found to have failed a breath test, indicating impairment. Police confirmed the assault claim was fabricated, leading to additional charges of public mischief. Bull faces charges of impaired driving, over 80 blood alcohol level, and public mischief, and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola on Nov. 17.
