Driver Todd McCarthy guided her to the lead on the backstretch, holding off Stormont Beautiful by one length, with Monalishi edging Delaney Hanover for third. The filly, a daughter of Tactical Landing-Consolidator bred by GBW Breeding Farms and Black Creek Farm, improved to 19 wins in 24 starts and earned $1.77 million in purses. The victory marked McCarthy’s second Breeders Crown win and trainer Andrew Harris’s first, with Harris sharing ownership with Bill Pollock and Bruce Areman. Sent off as the 6-5 favorite, Yo Tillie paid $4.40 to win.
