In Q2 2025, major firms increased investments in Vanguard real estate ETFs, signaling growing confidence in global and U.S. REIT markets.
In the second quarter of 2025, several institutions increased their stakes in real estate ETFs. Conservest Capital Advisors boosted its position in Vanguard Real Estate ETF (VNQ) by 24%, owning 325,849 shares worth about $29 million. Chilton Capital Management raised its holding in Vanguard Global ex-U.S. Real Estate ETF (VNQI) by 8.6%, totaling 395,150 shares valued at $18.2 million. Cullen Frost Bankers Inc. acquired 1,052 additional VNQ shares, bringing its total to 1,340 shares worth approximately $119,000. VNQ and VNQI are managed by Vanguard and track U.S. and international REIT indices, respectively.
