Odisha approves ₹14,182 crore B-MAAN scheme to boost aviation infrastructure and connectivity from 2025–2030.
The Odisha government has approved the Rs 14,182 crore B-MAAN scheme, a five-year plan (2025–2030) to transform the state into a key aviation hub in eastern India.
The initiative, led by the Commerce & Transport Department, focuses on expanding airport and heliport infrastructure, improving air connectivity through UDAN and Viability Gap Funding, developing MRO facilities, promoting drones and e-VTOLs, strengthening air cargo networks, and launching large-scale aviation skilling programs.
It aims to boost regional access, create jobs, attract private investment, and support inclusive growth under the “Aviation for All” principle.
The plan aligns with Odisha’s broader “Viksit Odisha 2036” vision.
