A 33-year-old man was arrested in Henderson, Auckland, on October 26, 2025, after a police pursuit following reports of an erratic vehicle with a firearm visible. Authorities responded around 4:20 p.m., tracking the suspect through Huapai, Kumeu, Massey, and Henderson, aided by an Eagle helicopter. Road spikes deployed on Te Kanawa Crescent stopped the vehicle at 5:40 p.m. No injuries occurred, and the man is in custody facing potential driving-related charges.
