India prepares to launch its heaviest military satellite, CMS-03, on Nov. 2, 2025, using the LVM-3 rocket.
India’s space agency, ISRO, has moved the LVM-3 rocket carrying the 4,400 kg CMS-03 (GSAT-7R) military communications satellite to the launchpad at Sriharikota for a November 2, 2025, launch.

This marks the fifth operational flight of the LVM-3, which previously supported the Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission.
Pre-launch preparations resumed after a cyclone’s path shifted.
Following CMS-03, ISRO plans another LVM-3 launch in early December to deploy a U.S.-based private satellite.
