India hosts its first Asia-Pacific aircraft accident investigators meeting in New Delhi, focusing on safety and collaboration.
India will host the Asia-Pacific Aircraft Accident Investigators meeting for the first time from October 28 to 31 in New Delhi, bringing together about 90 officials from regional aviation investigation authorities and international organizations.
Organized by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau under the Civil Aviation Ministry, the event features workshops on investigation procedures and reporting standards, followed by sessions on regional collaboration and safety improvements.
Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu will inaugurate the gathering.
The AAIB, currently managing around 25 ongoing investigations including the June 12 Air India crash that killed 260 people, aims to strengthen aviation safety through international cooperation.
