The Denza B5 PHEV off-road SUV launches in Australia in November 2025 with up to 90km electric range and off-road features.
The 2026 Denza B5, a plug-in hybrid off-road SUV from BYD’s luxury brand Denza, is set to launch in Australia in November, with the larger B8 following in early 2026.
It features a 425kW PHEV system with 760Nm of torque, 0–100km/h acceleration comparable to a Volkswagen Golf R, and up to 90km of electric range.
The vehicle offers off-road capabilities including low-range gearing, hydraulic suspension (on the Leopard trim), and a 3,000kg towing capacity.
Available in standard and Leopard trims, it boasts a premium cabin with Nappa leather, chunky toggle switches, and a rotating touchscreen, though the interface remains complex.
Pricing is expected to start around $60,000–$75,000 for the standard model, with the Leopard likely exceeding $70,000.
Full details will be confirmed closer to launch.
