A wrong-way driver struck four pedestrians on Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica Friday night, killing two and injuring two others before fleeing on foot. The crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the 1300 block near 14th and Euclid streets, with the suspect described as a Black male about 6 feet tall, last seen wearing a red hat, black sweater, and black shoes. A Dodge Charger was found crashed into a tree on the sidewalk. Two victims died at the scene; the other two were hospitalized and are expected to survive. Santa Monica Police are investigating the incident as a felony hit-and-run and urge the public to provide information.
