A recall has been issued for specific ground beef products sold at Pistachios Quality Meats & Groceries in London, Ontario, due to possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. The affected items, including ground beef, hamburgers, sojuk, and beef fat, were packed on October 5 and 6, 2025. No illnesses have been reported, but the Canadian Food Inspection Agency advises consumers not to eat, sell, or distribute the products and to return them or dispose of them. Symptoms of E. coli infection can include severe stomach cramps, diarrhea (often bloody), vomiting, and in rare cases, kidney failure. The recall is ongoing as a precaution.
