A man was arrested in Kansas City after allegedly robbing four banks in two days, using a red Jeep and a mask, with $7,000 stolen.
Weston R. Womack, 29, was arrested on October 23, 2025, in Kansas City on federal charges related to four bank robberies over two days.
Authorities say he targeted a US Bank, UMB Bank, Security Bank, and another UMB branch, using handwritten notes and a red Jeep linked to the crimes.
Surveillance footage showed him in black clothing, a hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, and a mask, with a note stating “no tracker.” The robberies, which occurred October 22–23, resulted in about $7,000 in losses, with the largest theft at $3,863.
Police tracked him via the vehicle and apprehended him after a brief chase near 39th Street and Paseo Boulevard.
Cash and clothing were recovered from the Jeep.
Womack, who requested a public defender, remains in custody pending a detention hearing on October 29.
