The Lake District named world’s most Instagrammable park, beating the Grand Canyon and Banff.
The Lake District in northwest England has been named the world’s most Instagrammable national park by travel company Travelbag, ranking first based on 4.6 million Instagram hashtags and 247,400 TikTok posts across 98 parks.
It edged out the Grand Canyon and Indonesia’s Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park for second place, with Canada’s Banff National Park third.
Other top parks included Yosemite, Rocky Mountain, and Yellowstone in the U.S., France’s Pyrénées, and South Africa’s Table Mountain.
The study found 66% of Brits travel to explore new destinations, with national parks offering a mix of adventure and relaxation.
