Karl Kaynar sentenced to 9.3 years for armed robberies in Kent, using fake gun, knife, and acid.
Karl Kaynar, 42, was sentenced to nine years and four months in prison for a two-day armed crime spree in Kent in March 2024, including robberies at a Domino’s and a petrol station.
He threatened staff with a firearm-like air weapon, a knife, and acid, stealing £400.
Police arrested him the same day, recovering evidence linked to the crimes.
Kaynar admitted to multiple offenses, including an earlier armed robbery deemed most serious, and had previously served 18 months in custody.
He will serve an additional 86 days for breaching a suspended sentence and will be on licence for four years after release.
Kent Police said his actions caused real fear and that the swift investigation prevented further harm.
