Ford recalls 160K vehicles in Canada over fire, safety, and defect risks.
Ford has recalled over 160,000 vehicles in Canada, including Ford and Lincoln models like the Bronco, Explorer, Ranger, Mustang, and Super Duty trucks.
Issues include a faulty engine block heater that may leak coolant and pose a fire risk, airbag and lighting defects in some 2025 models, software glitches affecting rear-view cameras, and a supercharger upgrade kit that may disable safety features and cause unintended acceleration.
Some vehicles also have improperly tightened trailer hitch bolts that could lead to detachment.
Ford will notify owners by mail and provide free repairs at dealerships.
