Epping Forest launched a Brambly Hedge-themed trail with 17 sculptures, linking children’s books, nature, and conservation.
Epping Forest has launched the Brambly Hedge Trail, inspired by Jill Barklem’s children’s books, on October 10, featuring 17 character sculptures for families to find using trail packs costing £3.
Completing the trail earns children a sticker at the Chingford Visitor Centre.
The event, timed with autumn, highlights seasonal changes, conservation efforts by over 100 staff and volunteers, and the forest’s history, including ancient crab apple trees and community events like Copped Hall Apple Day.
