Eighteen IMOCA yachts began the 2025 Transat Café l'OR from Le Havre, France, on Sunday, launching the final race of the season in a 4,350-nautical mile journey to Martinique. Top contenders include Yoann Richomme and Jérémie Horeau on Paprec Arkéa, Sam Goodchild and Loïs Berrehar on MACIF Santé Prévoyance, and Ambrogio Beccaria and Thomas Ruyant on Allagrande MAPEI Racing. The fleet faces challenging conditions, including strong winds in the Channel and Bay of Biscay, with uncertainty near Portugal.
