Australian swimmer Mollie O'Callaghan set a new world record in the women's short course 200m freestyle with a time of 1:49.36 at the World Cup in Toronto, becoming the first woman to swim under 1:50.
This followed her previous record of 1:49.77 set six days earlier in Illinois.
Hungary’s Hubert Kos won the 50m backstroke in 22.67 seconds after setting a world record in the 200m backstroke earlier in the week.
Canada’s Josh Liendo claimed gold in the 100m freestyle in 45.30 seconds and had previously broken the 100m butterfly world record.
