Amsterdam approves Windmill Botanicals, a cannabis microbusiness, to operate in Edson Street Industrial Park, starting cultivation before year-end 2025.
The Amsterdam Planning Commission has approved Windmill Botanicals, a cannabis microbusiness owned by chemical engineer Connor Kilgallen, to operate in the Edson Street Industrial Park.
The business will cultivate and process cannabis for wholesale distribution, starting with a 500-square-foot canopy in a 5,000-square-foot space across two floors of a family-owned warehouse.
It will use a phased approach, initially focusing on B2B sales, with future plans for secure, scheduled direct-to-consumer pickup and online ordering.
Located in a commercial zone, the operation will comply with state regulations, including METRIC tracking, secure storage, and surveillance.
The business could begin cultivating its first crop before the end of 2025.
