William E. Sipple charged with second-degree murder in June shooting that killed Ty’rick Henry in Kansas City.
William E. Sipple, a Kansas City, Kansas, man, has been charged with second-degree murder and other counts in connection with a June 15 shooting near 19th & Vine that killed 26-year-old Ty’rick Henry.
Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson announced the charges on October 23, 2025, following an incident at a parking lot near Truman Road and Prospect Avenue.
Surveillance footage and witness statements identified Sipple as the shooter.
Henry died 15 days after being shot.
Another man was previously charged under Missouri’s ‘Blair’s Law’ for firing into the air during the incident.
Sipple is in custody on a $300,000 cash-only bond.
