Two Alberta men arrested for making fentanyl and trafficking drugs, with weapons and stolen cash found.
On October 21, 2025, two Alberta residents, Codi McCreesh, 41, and Jamie Lee Ozechowski, 41, were arrested in the Goodfare area following a five-month investigation by ALERT, with support from local RCMP and police.
They face charges including producing fentanyl and carfentanil, drug trafficking, and firearms offences.
A search of a rural home yielded 188 grams of fentanyl, 10 grams of methamphetamine, a firearm, ammunition, contraband tobacco, and about $15,000 in stolen property.
Both remain in custody and are set for their first court appearance on October 27.
ALERT, a provincial task force, has since 2006 seized over $989 million in drugs and removed more than 2,000 firearms.
The public is urged to report suspicious activity via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
