Former Arsenal and England captain Tony Adams is backing the Royal British Legion and MatchWornShirt’s 2025 Poppy Appeal, urging football fans to honor the Armed Forces ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
Match-worn, signed shirts from clubs across the English football pyramid will be auctioned online, with all net proceeds supporting veterans and their families.
Now in its seventh year, the campaign has raised nearly £3.5 million.
Adams, whose father served in the British Army, highlighted shared values between football and military service, calling the initiative a powerful way to remember service members.
