Swedish producer prices rose 0.5% year-on-year in September, ending seven months of declines, driven by a 16.4% surge in energy-related prices, according to Statistics Sweden.
Monthly prices dropped 0.7%, reversing August’s gain.
Excluding energy, the index fell 1.6% annually.
In Finland, producer prices for manufactured products dropped 0.3% annually, led by lower pulp, paper, and electricity costs, though food prices rose.
Export and import prices both declined, while domestic prices rose 0.4%.
