Sixty6 Acres, a Queensland holiday park on the Sunshine Coast, has reopened after a brief expansion, now offering 93 powered campsites, seven heated magnesium plunge pools, and a new restaurant serving locally sourced meals including a pineapple daiquiri.
The former sugarcane farm, owned by Andrew and Jo Pitcher, features stylish villas, farm tours with miniature animals, and fresh produce like pineapples and strawberries.
The site, which restored native vegetation and planted 25,000 trees, is located near Maroochydore Beach and Noosa.
The expansion, completed in 11 months, marks the first new holiday park on the coast in nearly a decade and includes plans for 19 additional glamping tents, bringing total accommodations to 132.
