Mazda's all-electric 6e, launching mid-2026, marks its first new mid-size sedan in over a decade and return to EVs.
Mazda Australia has confirmed the all-electric Mazda 6e will launch around mid-2026, marking the brand’s first new mid-size sedan in over ten years and its return to the EV market since the MX-30.
Built in China by the Changan-Mazda joint venture, the 6e will feature a 78kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, start under $55,000, and compete with the Tesla Model 3 and BYD Seal.
It will be available in multiple trims, measure 4921mm long, and lack a range-extender variant.
Mazda emphasized strong dealer support, technician training, and customer education across its 148 locations to support EV adoption.
