The October 24 Coalition of the Willing meeting, hosted by the UK, will bring key leaders including Keir Starmer, Mette Frederiksen, Dick Schoof, Mark Rutte, and Volodymyr Zelensky in person, with about 20 others joining remotely. The focus is on pressuring Russia through reduced oil revenues, using frozen Russian assets to fund arms deliveries, and advancing long-range missile transfers. The UK will accelerate missile production, delivering 100 air defense missiles early and reaffirming a pledge to supply over 5,000 lightweight multirole missiles. Discussions will also center on protecting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and enhancing defense coordination, with Zelenskyy stressing Ukraine hasn’t used U.S. long-range weapons inside Russia and urging swift EU action on frozen assets.
