The Haryana government has raised the dearness allowance and relief for state employees and pensioners from 55% to 58% of basic pay and pension, effective July 1, 2025. The increase, applicable to those under the 7th Pay Commission, will be reflected in October salaries and pensions, with arrears for July to September to be paid in November. Nearly 600,000 beneficiaries, including employees and pensioners, will receive the adjustment, which includes a new rounding rule for DA calculations. The move aims to counter inflation and follows a previous 2% hike in April.
