Duluth holds snowplow naming contest with public voting Nov. 3–7; winner announced Nov. 21.
Duluth is holding its second annual snowplow naming contest for residents, with entries limited to one per person, under 25 characters and three words, and must be appropriate and nonpartisan.
Submissions must not include profanity, political references, names, or trademarks.
After a city staff shortlist of top 10 names, public voting runs November 3–7, with the winner revealed November 21 during the Christmas City of the North Parade.
The winner gets a photo with the plow crew and a parade ride.
Last year’s winner was “Enger Plower.”
