A woman was charged after allegedly stabbing a man in a South Coast incident early October 22, 2025.

A 33-year-old woman was charged with reckless wounding after a stabbing on Rayleigh Drive in Worrigee, South Coast, around 2 a.m. on October 22, 2025. A 41-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds to his upper thigh and was treated by NSW Ambulance before being taken to Wollongong Hospital. Police secured the scene, interviewed the woman—who was known to the victim—and she was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital for unrelated treatment. After her release at 1:05 p.m., she was arrested, charged, denied bail, and is set to appear in court on October 23. Authorities are not seeking additional suspects.
