Erin Savidge, a 31-year-old Pennsylvania dog sitter, was arrested for stealing and pawning four rings from a deceased man’s home, police said. The victim reported the rings missing in July, noting Savidge was the only person with access during stays in March and May. Authorities found Savidge pawned jewelry in Lancaster between February and July, including two rings identified by the victim. The rings were unrecoverable as they were melted down. Savidge faces charges of receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking, with the stolen items valued at about $1,000.
