A Nigerian court has denied Tukur Mamu’s third bail request, reinforcing ongoing terrorism financing charges linked to his alleged role as a Boko Haram negotiator in the 2022 Abuja-Kaduna train attack.
The Federal High Court in Abuja, presided by Justice Mohammed Umar, cited the prosecution’s diligence and national security concerns, noting Mamu allegedly bypassed official government channels to collect and divert ransom payments.
The court acknowledged his health issues and ordered transfer to a medical facility selected by his defense team, while allowing family visits.
The case remains active, with no trial date set.
