Nebraska considers moving volleyball postseason to larger arena for better attendance.
Nebraska volleyball is considering moving its NCAA postseason matches to Pinnacle Bank Arena in December to boost attendance and create a tournament-like atmosphere, according to athletic director Troy Dannen.
The team drew over 15,000 fans at two early-season matches there, prompting exploration of the venue for one weekend of the tournament—either opening rounds or regionals.
While the Bob Devaney Sports Center remains the traditional home, the larger arena offers double the capacity and a more energetic environment, with players and coaches praising the experience.
The change is under review and would not affect the entire postseason.
