Miami Dolphins tight end Darren Waller sidelined for season with pectoral injury.
Miami Dolphins tight end Darren Waller has been placed on injured reserve with a pectoral injury sustained in a game against the Cleveland Browns, ending his 2025 season. He is not expected to return until November 30. Waller, who rejoined the NFL after retiring in 2024, had 10 receptions for 110 yards and four touchdowns in four games with Miami. He previously played 12 games for the Giants in 2023 before retiring, citing being underutilized and being asked to perform beyond his role. The Dolphins acquired him from the Giants in August for a 2026 sixth-round pick.
