Mark Allen Lee, 36, has been charged with fourth-degree assault and harassment after allegedly shoving a woman in an inflatable clown costume outside the ICE facility in South Portland on October 18, 2025. The woman, who suffered a bleeding elbow, said Lee threatened her before pushing her off the sidewalk, causing her to fall. She could not identify him due to the costume’s obstructed vision. Lee admitted to pushing someone in the costume during an argument but claimed he did not know who was inside. The incident is one of 36 federal charges filed since June 13, 2025, related to protests near ICE facilities, including assaults on federal officers and property damage.
