A drunk driver caused a fatal rollover in Spokane, injuring three and killing a dog.

A rollover crash early Wednesday near Spokane County’s West Hallett Road and South Mayflower Street left three people injured and a dog dead. The male driver, believed to be impaired and possibly speeding, lost control of his 2004 Ford F-250, drifted off the road, overcorrected, and rolled, striking a fence and house. He was ejected with life-threatening injuries, while two passengers—a woman with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and a man treated and released—were hospitalized. The dog died at the scene. Investigators say the driver and one passenger weren’t wearing seat belts, and the crash is under investigation with possible felony charges.
