Columbus and Montgomery County police arrested two men in drug and gun cases involving hundreds of pounds of narcotics and multiple weapons.
On October 22, 2025, Columbus police arrested Eric Gibbs and Justin Harris following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of 16.4 pounds of marijuana, two firearms, and nearly $4,000 in cash.
The investigation began after Gibbs was suspected of drug distribution, and a search of his vehicle and home revealed additional drugs and weapons.
Both men face multiple charges, including drug trafficking and illegal firearm possession.
In a separate case, Montgomery County authorities arrested Robbie Turner on narcotics and weapons charges after seizing over 1,000 grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and a firearm.
The operations were conducted with multi-agency cooperation.
