Ben Curran scored a career-best 121, his maiden Test century, to anchor Zimbabwe’s 359 in the first innings, while Richard Ngarava took five wickets for 37 runs in the second innings, his best Test figures. Afghanistan were bowled out for 127 and 159, with Ziaur Rahman taking seven wickets on debut, the second-best in Afghan Test history. The win marks Zimbabwe’s third innings victory in Test history and a major milestone after a challenging period. The teams will now play a three-match T20I series starting October 29.
