A 10th-grade girl staying at a government hostel in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, was allegedly raped on Diwali evening after being lured from the premises by a young man named Ajay, who took her to a lodge and later dropped her near Devi Chowk. The warden noticed her distress and injuries upon return, prompting an investigation. The girl was taken to a hospital, her parents were informed, and a case was filed under the POCSO Act. Police have identified Ajay as the suspect and are continuing their investigation.
