Publix is recalling its Rich & Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream in six Southeastern states due to a packaging error that may have caused some half-gallon containers labeled as vanilla to contain French vanilla ice cream, which includes eggs.
The affected product, with a sell-by date of June 19, 2026, and UPC 41415 03043, could pose a serious risk to those with egg allergies.
The recall excludes stores in Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Tampa, Sarasota, Virginia, and North Carolina.
No illnesses have been reported.
Customers are urged to check their freezers and return any affected ice cream for a full refund.
