The Philippines and TikTok launched a digital training program for 50 small tourism businesses to boost visibility and sales.
The Philippine Department of Tourism and TikTok signed a partnership on October 21, 2025, to train 50 DOT-accredited tourism MSMEs in digital content creation, starting with workshops in November in Metro Manila and Cebu.
The program, part of the Content Camp: Level Up with TikTok initiative, will teach skills in short-form video production, live selling, and online marketing to help small hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops, and travel agencies boost visibility and revenue.
Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco highlighted the effort’s role in supporting post-disaster recovery in Cebu and advancing community development through digital empowerment.
