Neeraj Ghaywan’s Oscar contender 'Homebound,' starring Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa, will open the 14th Dharamshala International Film Festival, running October 30 to November 2, 2025.
The festival, highlighting global independent cinema, features Australia’s Oscar submission 'The Wolves Always Come at Night' and other international films including Bhutan’s 'I, The Song,' Irish-language film 'Kneecap,' Raoul Peck’s 'Orwell 2+2=5,' and Sundance winner 'Cactus Pears.'
It includes a masterclass by Kiran Rao and a session with actor Adil Hussain, while Andrey A Tarkovsky presents his documentary on his father.
