Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, jailed since 2023, accused Army Chief General Asim Munir of turning Pakistan into a "hard state" ruled by repression, not law, calling the system "Asim Law."
In a post on X, Khan claimed he has been held in total isolation at Adiala Prison for over two years, denied family visits, legal meetings, and basic rights.
He said he spoke to his sons only once in 10 months, for three minutes, and his wife was barred from delivering essential supplies.
Khan blamed the military-led crackdown for undermining democracy and weakening security, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and argued that lasting peace requires inclusive governance.
His aide confirmed the ongoing isolation and human rights violations.
