A convicted burglar escaped from an Indiana jail during a bike repair work detail on October 21, 2025.
Timothy A. Oliver, a 53-year-old man serving time for third-degree burglary, escaped from the Henderson County Detention Center in Evansville, Indiana, just before noon on October 21, 2025.
Authorities say he fled during a work detail repairing bicycles for the Salvation Army, riding off on a bike that was later found south of the jail.
Described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, Oliver was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray shirt with “Trustee” printed on it, a ball cap, and possibly a tan or orange outfit.
State and local agencies, including the Kentucky State Police, Evansville Police Department, and Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, are searching with K-9 units and drones.
Officials urge the public to call 911 or contact KSP Post 16 at 270-826-3312 if they see him.
