A 15-year-old girl is in stable but serious condition after falling from a ute in rural NSW on Oct. 17, 2025.

A 15-year-old girl remains in stable but serious condition after falling from the back of a dual cab ute in Premer, a remote area 80km west of Werris Creek, on Friday, October 17, 2025. She was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter after sustaining significant head injuries. NSW Police and the Tamworth Crash Investigation Unit are examining the scene, with the vehicle seized for mechanical inspection. The girl was reportedly with others on or near the vehicle when the fall occurred. The investigation continues to determine the cause.
