Two former Delhi, Iowa, officials, Lori Tucker and Gregory Preussner, have been charged in connection with a financial misconduct investigation revealing over $66,000 in improper disbursements. Tucker, former city clerk, faces theft and tampering charges for unauthorized payments and blocking access to city systems after resigning in 2022. Preussner, former mayor, is charged with aiding theft and impersonating a public official after admitting to approving improper payroll, reimbursements, and backdating a time-off request for Tucker. The case stems from an Iowa Auditor’s Office report and is under review for prosecution.
