A Saskatchewan teen was arrested for allegedly setting an arson fire in Sandy Bay on Oct. 18, 2025, linked to a series of recent fires.

A teenage boy has been arrested in Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan, in connection with a fire at an abandoned house on October 18, 2025, which caused significant damage but no injuries. Charged with arson and failing to comply with a court condition, he was remanded into custody and appeared in court via video. RCMP are investigating the incident alongside three other suspected arson fires in the area this October, including one that displaced a family of ten.
