Nigeria’s president nominates Bernard Doro, a pharmacist with UK NHS experience, for a federal ministerial role.
President Bola Tinubu has nominated Bernard Doro, a Plateau State native with over 20 years of experience in pharmacy and clinical practice, including work in the UK’s National Health Service, for a federal ministerial position.
The nomination, submitted to the Senate for confirmation, follows the election of Nentawe Yilwatda as APC chairman.
Doro holds degrees in Pharmacy, Law, and Advanced Clinical Practice, along with an MBA in IT-driven business strategy.
He is an Independent Prescriber and has led youth mentorship and community programs in Nigeria and abroad.
The ministry he will lead has not been disclosed.
