The Ministry of Steel cleared 96% of public grievances under a nationwide campaign, freeing office space and improving record management.
The Ministry of Steel reports it has resolved 96% of its public grievance targets under the SCDPM 5.0 campaign, which runs through October 31. The effort focused on clearing pending cases from MPs, the Prime Minister’s Office, VIPs, the Cabinet, state governments, and CPGRAMS. Officials removed 8,525 physical files, conducted 195 cleanliness drives—surpassing the 282 target—and freed nearly 9,851 square feet of office space by disposing of scrap, e-waste, and outdated documents. Several CPSEs adopted new record management and grievance resolution methods, boosting efficiency and transparency. The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to administrative reform and timely public service delivery.
