Mike Tyson arrived in Kinshasa, DR Congo, on October 18, 2025, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 'Rumble in the Jungle' fight between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman.
He met with President Felix Tshisekedi, called the meeting a "beautiful experience," and discussed future projects, with plans to return.
Tyson, who acknowledged his Congolese heritage, spoke emotionally at the newly renamed Ali-Foreman Stadium, recalling how Ali’s 1974 victory inspired him as a child.
The event honored one of boxing’s most iconic moments, with Tyson also training young boxers.
