Colorado hosts free wolf-livestock conflict training in Gunnison and Montrose on Oct. 22–23.
Colorado agencies are hosting two free training sessions on October 22 and 23 in western Colorado to help residents manage non-lethal wolf-livestock conflicts.
The events, in Gunnison and Montrose, will provide updates on the state’s wolf restoration program, share strategies like range riders and fencing, and offer resources for preventing wolf-related livestock losses.
Reservations are required and can be made by contacting Dustin Shiflett.
The trainings aim to support coexistence between wolves, ranchers, and communities through education and science-based solutions.
