The actor, who played Daredevil in the Netflix series and appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home, clarified that his current work is unrelated to the 2026 MCU movie.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film will explore Peter Parker’s life after being erased from public memory and is set for release on July 31, 2026.
While returning characters like Jon Bernthal as the Punisher and Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk are confirmed, Cox’s involvement has not been planned.
